The inspiration for the colorfu skull series came from a T-shirt that I owned. I really liked how the combination of floral plants and bright colors depicted the skull as living instead of dead which we normally would associate with skulls. I did two version of the skulls, the first is 36x48 and the second 24x36. Both are oil painting on canvas.
The green colorful skull can be seen at the Jerk Shack Caribbean restaurant in downtown Seattle, Wa.
