The Champ

As a child I remembered watching playbacks of Muhammad Ali fights and thinking to myself that he was the greatest fighter ever. His personality matched with his effortless knockout style were magic shows happening inside a boxing ring. I wanted to pay tribute to him through painting and when I came across Neil Leifer’s picture of Ali knocking out Gorge Foreman in “The Thrilla in Manila” I knew instantly that this was the picture.

This painting is oil on canvas size 48x48.
